Math: demonstrating numbers within 1,000 with base ten blocks, standard form, word form, and expanded form. This will be assessed at the end of the week. Continue to practice math facts 1-10 and 1-20 at home! Writing: adding a conclusion and revising personal narratives. Reading: asking and answering questions while reading literary texts. This will be assessed on Friday as well as throughout the week. Students will have the opportunity to go to the Media Center for new books at least once a week during their scheduled time in Reading Workshop as well as during Morning Work time. Phonics: reading and spelling CVCe words (consonant vowel consonant with magic e). Students recorded their phonics words in their agendas today. Science: classifying physical properties of matter with the IB Central Idea.
