About Ms. Gause
I am an educator, author and traveler with 17 years of experience in education in the United States and internationally. I have taught elementary, developed new and improved existing curricula as a curriculum and instructional specialist, and am the founder and CEO of GAUSE Educational Network, LLC.
This is my 2nd year teaching at Teasley Elementary and I am absolutely thrilled to be your child’s second grade teacher. I am passionate about giving young children the best possible education in life. I have a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from UNC-Greensboro. Upon graduating I joined Teach for America and taught in Atlanta Public Schools. That is where I discovered my love for educating children. I went back to school and received a post-baccalaureate certification in early childhood education from Agnes Scott College. I later received a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University.
My career path led me to the United Arab Emirates. It was this experience as an international educator that prompted to write and publish my first children's book Friendship in Any Language telling the story about friendship across cultural lines. Besides writing, I enjoy reading, collecting elephant figurines from different countries while traveling, eating and gatherings with family and friends.
I am genuinely excited about working with each of you this school year to educate your children. I am thrilled about helping the young scholars develop and maintain a love for learning!
